When the scraper fails to operate, you can analyze and troubleshoot the issue by considering the following aspects:
1. Manual operation confirms that the mechanical and hydraulic transmission systems are functioning properly, while a fault in the料位器 (material level sensor) circuit or displacement of the material level sensor’s upper and lower microswitches indicates an issue. In such cases, automatic operation can help identify and resolve the problem by verifying the correct positioning of the microswitches within the mechanical and hydraulic systems.
2. There is no manual operation or automatic operation. First, check if the wiring is loose and if the fuse is blown. If there’s an issue with the wiring connections or the fuse has burned out, you can eliminate the fault by replacing the fuse or reconnecting the wires.
3. If the electrical control system is functioning properly and the scraper hasn’t moved, the issue likely lies in either the hydraulic system or the mechanical transmission system. In the case of a hydraulic system failure, the system’s relief valve might get stuck, preventing the system pressure from rising, or the solenoid directional control valve may fail to actuate. Typically, start by inspecting the solenoid directional control valve—clean it thoroughly and observe how the spool operates when power is applied. If the spool moves smoothly under power, proceed to clean the relief valve and adjust it to resolve the issue. At this point, you can verify whether the system pressure is within the normal range by installing a pressure-measuring connector at the inlet of the oil filter. If the pressure exceeds 150 bar under load, the hydraulic system is operating correctly; however, if this isn’t the case, further investigate whether the mechanical transmission system is experiencing any abnormalities or obstructions.

A special roller chain is installed on both sides of the scraper, ensuring stable transmission, a compact design, and excellent strength. Depending on the specific application, scraper chip conveyors are categorized into models such as the standard scraper chip conveyor XYGP-B1, the magnetic scraper chip conveyor XYCGP-B1, the reverse-action scraper chip conveyor XYFGP-B1, and the magnetic reverse-action scraper chip conveyor XYCFCP-B1. Typically, the internal chain used in these scrapers features a small-sized roller conveyor chain with a pitch of 25.4 mm. For applications requiring higher capacity in specialized environments, larger roller conveyor chains with a pitch of 101.6 mm can be employed. Additionally, when paired with vacuum filters, users may opt for wear-resistant, high-strength die-forged chains.
Dry machining and non-ferromagnetic material processing areas typically use standard scraper-type chip conveyors, while wet cast iron machining usually employs magnetic scraper conveyors. For aluminum chips and applications requiring high-precision filtration, specialized filtration systems are utilized. A mechanical overload protection device is installed on the drive shaft of the scraper conveyor. If the scraper gets jammed by a large object, the overload mechanism will disengage, safeguarding the drive motor from damage.
Instructions for Selecting a Scraper Chip Conveyor:
The dimensions of the scraper chip conveyor are customized according to the customer’s specific requirements. The model of the chip conveyor is determined by its width, B1, and is designated as XYGP-B1. When selecting a scraper chip conveyor, customers only need to provide the site length (L, L1, or L2), the horizontal height (H2—note that magnetic scraper models are 23mm taller than standard ones), the head height (H), and either the width dimension (B1 or B). The standard angle A is 60°, but in special cases, 30° or 45° can also be chosen.
The scraper-type chip conveyor can be used in conjunction with filtration devices such as paper belt filters and bag filters for centralized filtration in grinding operations. It can also serve as a primary filter for vacuum-based filtration systems.
