The metal scraper flowmeter is a mechatronic product that can also be used as a standard meter. Installation of the scraper flowmeter does not require straight pipe sections, rectifiers, or other auxiliary equipment, and it remains unaffected by pipe fittings such as elbows, tees, and valves. The device operates smoothly, with no vibration or noise, delivering high measurement accuracy—up to 0.2%. Even media as complex as crude oil, water, or solid particle impurities like sand pose no obstacle to its reliable performance. Additionally, the flowmeter exhibits minimal pressure loss, typically below 0.06 MPa, making it suitable for measuring the flow of common petroleum products such as aviation fuel, light oils, low-to-medium viscosity fluids, as well as high-viscosity crudes.
